Uber Rewards, Uber's user loyalty program, has reached five more Brazilian capitals. From this Monday (11), passengers from So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Curitiba can accumulate points and convert them into advantages such as travel discounts, free Uber Eats deliveries and category upgrade without additional charge. 1. How does Uber Rewards work?
Every $ 1 spent on UberX, UberX VIP, Uber Together or Uber Eats orders is worth one point on Rewards. Already in Uber Select and Uber Black, earnings rise to two points for every dollar paid. The program has four levels, each with different benefits: Blue (up to 399 points), Gold (from 400 to 1,499 points), Platinum (from 1,500 to 3,999 points) and Diamond (from 4,000 points).
2. Are old trips accounted for on the score?
Upon entering Rewards, Uber considers the amounts disbursed by the user over the past six months to account for the score. This means that even those in cities not yet covered by the program can already begin to accumulate points. Depending on your account history, you may even be able to join Rewards in higher categories. The level of each user is calculated every six months.
3. What are the benefits?
For every 500 points earned, the user can choose between a 10% discount on UberX travel for three days or a 20% discount on the next order on Uber Eats. This benefit applies to all passengers, regardless of category.
