WhatsApp has begun to hint that it may release the long-awaited dark mode soon. The beta version of the Messenger for Android has been displaying a nightly wallpaper and a black tint on the opening screen, just before the conversations of the user. The same dark-toned home screen has surfaced in the experimental iPhone app (iOS) starting this Thursday (14).
As noted by the specialized site WABetaInfo, the update also hides new features that may come soon for both platforms. For now, remains a mystery the date when users will have access to the dark mode and other news that came up in Beta.

The latest test version of the Apple platform app also begins to show the new brand of the company that controls the messenger: when the app opens, the user will see the "from Facebook" label on the footer.
In Beta 2.19.332 for Android, there are indications of changes in the function of blocking contacts. One of them is a text entry in the conversation history ("You blocked this user") that will allow you to unlock by the chat itself without having to open the conversation menu ("Tap to unlock"). The app also tests a new grouping of blocked contacts that automatically separates store numbers into a broken category.
On iOS, the biggest news is the "Registration Code", a feature that gives clues about the long-awaited messenger support for multiple devices at the same time. According to WABetaInfo, the iPhone messenger already shows screens involving the new authentication system: when logging in to a new device, the user will be able to receive an activation code on a device already authorized to validate the entry. The method resembles the login type used by rival Telegram.
