Apple unveiled a surprise event scheduled for December 2 in New York. The ceremony should award the best 2019 apps and games available for iPhone and iPad (iOS). In an invitation sent to the American press on Monday (18), the company highlights the slogan Beloved for millions. Created by the best ", in gold letters and with the App Store logo.
In addition to the list of favorite apps, there is no information about the launch of devices or services on this occasion. It's worth mentioning that this is Apple's first application-focused event, so the content of the presentation remains a mystery. In previous years, the company only announced the selection of winners without any awards ceremony or journalist participation.

Apple's official events page still doesn't show live streaming information, so there's no way to confirm real-time video availability. New devices are not expected at the ceremony, despite rumors circulating in the press about the release of the Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR monitor in December 2019.
Most curious of all, this is the first time Apple has held a conference dedicated only to applications and games awards. On the other hand, the tech giant chose not to host events in October and November this year, when it used press releases to debut the AirPods Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro, respectively.
Last Wednesday (13), Apple introduced the new MacBook Pro that comes to replace the 15-inch version and has hardware improvements. The new features of the notebook include bigger and better screen, and more memory, both in the base versions and models with optional upgrade. In September, Apple released the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Apple Watch 5, as well as updates to the Apple Arcade game service.
