Amazon Alexa: How to use the app on Android or iPhone (iOS) phone | Productivity

Alexa is Amazon's virtual assistant, with apps available for Android and iPhone (iOS) phones. In the app, the user can use voice commands to add alarms and reminders, consult his calendar, search the Internet, play music and more. Step 1. Download and install the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile. When you first open it, you will need to log in to your Amazon account. Tap "Create a new Amazon account" to sign up for free. After logging in, tap "Continue";

Step 2. Next, select whether you want to set up Amazon Echo or the Alexa app on your phone. Select your name and, if necessary, confirm your identity;

Step 3. In the next steps, grant the app access to your contacts and verify your phone number. You will receive a verification code per SMS message, which should be entered on the next screen;

Step 4. A brief introduction about the application will be displayed. Tap "Advance" and "OK" a few times to end the tour;

Step 5. In "Home screen" you can view the date and weather forecast of your city. Slide the cards Scroll up to see suggestions of what you can do in the app. The cards they are dynamic and change daily;

Step 6. In the "Communicate" tab, you can make calls, send messages, files and warnings to others through Echo devices. The features are unique to people who own Amazon devices;

Step 7. Tap the center button on the bottom bar to call the wizard. You can use voice commands to add reminders, check your calendar, search the Internet, play music, and more;

Step 8. Go to the "Play" tab to listen to music on Amazon Music and local radio. You can also link applications like Spotify and Deezer to listen to their music. Finally, on the "Devices" tab, you can add and manage Amazon devices connected to your account.
