The iFood delivery network recently launched a lighter version of its app for users. The free program, which is currently only available for the Android system, occupies less than 300 KB of storage on the phone. You can purchase the app from ifood/pwa without having to go to the Google Play Store.
According to the company's product manager, Bruno Parizotto, the launch's goal is to bring iFood's service to more users. "Although more than 16 million people have already used the platform, we still have the opportunity to take all the practicality the app can offer to hundreds of millions more."
