How to speed up Moto X performance

Moto X is already a very fast device, in part due to its very thin skin and close to the Android stock. This does not mean, however, that you cannot make it even faster. I've separated a few simple tips to make your use experience as fast as possible.

motof2 "sizes =" (max-width: 806px) calc (100vw - 24px), (max-width: 995px) 782px, (max-width: 1216px) calc (2 * (100vw - 30px) / 3) + 15px - 24px), 782px "src =" "srcset =" motof2-w620.jpg 620w, 596w, jpg 450w, 336w, 300w "class = "lazyload" />
<h2><strong>Become an ARTIST</strong></h2>
<p>I love ART (<strong>Android Runtime</strong>), the new Android virtual machine that will replace Dalvik definitely in the next version of the operating system, Android 5.0. Moto X already runs a very close version of Android stock with some extra software features, so the fastest interface experience possible on a non-Google Play Edition device.</p><div class=
Motoxart "sizes =" (max-width: 806px) calc (100vw - 24px), (max-width: 995px) 782px, (max-width: 1216px) calc (2 * (100vw - 30px) / 3) + 15px - 24px), 782px "src =" "srcset =" Motoxart-w628.jpg 628w, 596w, jpg 450w, 336w, 300w "class = "lazyload" />
<p>However, if you enable Moto X developer options (<strong>Settings> About Phone> repeatedly click build number</strong>), you can switch Dalvik's virtual machine to ART. That way, apps will be precompiled, so they can be activated faster. While not all apps will work with ART, at least you get a sense of how fast Android 5.0 is.</p>
<h2><strong>Control your widgets addiction</strong></h2>
<p>Personally, I like widgets very much. For me, like having a personalized newspaper at your fingertips. But all of these services, whether news, weather, Reddit, etc., are constantly updated and synchronized to keep us informed, even when we're not using it. So if you can live without them, your homescreen experience will be much faster.</p>

Update yourself

Another basic tip. Application developers are always looking for ways to improve the performance of their apps by integrating them into service update firmware. Keeping your apps up to date is one of the best ways to make sure your Moto X as a whole runs smoothly. Also, if you're not using an app, it's better to delete it and get rid of background sync and update processes.

motoxgoogleplay "sizes =" (max-width: 806px) calc (100vw - 24px), (max-width: 995px) 782px, (max-width: 1216px) calc (2 * (100vw - 30px) / 3) + 15px - 24px), 782px "src =" "srcset =" motoxgoogleplay-w628.jpg 628w, 596w, jpg 450w, 336w, 300w "class = "lazyload" />
<h2><strong>Containing the animation</strong></h2>
<p>You may not realize it, but every time a new window appears on your device, this transition is made with a little animation. Disabling them will not make your Moto X faster, but you will be able to switch apps, enter information in the new window, and make choices much faster because you don't have to wait for the little transition animation to appear.</p>

To turn off transition animations, go to Developer Options> Transition Scale> Animation Off.

Use Tasker / Greenify

If you are a root user, use the Tasker. Otherwise, try the Greenify. Both apps will show each app's activity in real time, allowing you to manage background processes. By requiring root permissions, Tasker gives you complete control over your device, so you can set a series of rules or combined commands. In turn, Greenify is another monitoring app, but if you learn from it that applications run many processes, you can opt for another equivalent and more agile.
