If you are playing electronic games, you probably have heard of anti-aliasing, the technique that lets you smooth out the lines of an image, notably improving the final effect. Find out below how to optimize your visual experience on Android games!
If your device lets you play lighter or heavier games without delay or gagging, now is the time to show something else: better picture quality!
For our test, I chose to download Spider-Man Unlimited and see the image differences before and after the change:
Spider-Man Without Limits
- Enter "Settings" and select About Phone;
- Click on the Version Number seven times until you see a message about the appearance of a new section, the Developer Options;
- Go back to Settings and enter Developer Options;
- Go to the Hardware Accelerated Rendering section and enable Forar 4x MSAA.
If after enabling this advanced option the game slows down or crashes at all, simply deactivate the Forar MSAA 4x option again to return it to normal. In fact, the anti-aliasing process will require extra effort from your device, impacting not only on performance but also on battery life. Important detail: This function cannot be used for all Android games.
