Android 5.0 Lollipop Improves App Notification Experience

Android 5.0 Lollipop has given me a great impression since its introduction during Google I / O 2014, and it's only getting better over the days. Thanks to a French developer, we now know that a new API present in the latest version of Android lets you add a quick shortcut to the app settings themselves, thus avoiding having to open it to disable notifications or any other app-specific functions.

The operation of the new feature is very simple. To see the settings icon, simply press and hold a notification of the application in question. After that, clicking the gear button will take you to the settings screen where you can disable those annoying and often unnecessary notifications.

It seems that this option will not be visible by default in applications, so it will be up to the developers to choose to add them or not.

And, in your opinion, did Android Lollipop come or not with the extremely optimized software usage experience? I am really curious to know what you think in the comments below.
