THE Samsung accidentally put in the air and then took the Gear Fit 2 Pro, but then it was late: major online tech publications had already picked up all the information they needed to learn about the new version of the company's exercise wearable. The Gear Fit Pro version has as its main novelty the inclusion of more water resistance, which makes it possible for the smartband to keep up with its strokes in a swimming pool.
Review: Samsung Gear Fit 2 – Wearable is a smartband and smartwatch hybrid, with the qualities and defects of both
The traditional Gear Fit 2 already has IP68 protection, which ensures that there's no worry about wearing it with a sweaty arm or even being caught by a rain in the middle of the road. For underwater activities, the protection can also withstand pressure up to 5ATM, something equivalent to diving it up to 50 meters deep. With this greater margin of resistance she can cope with the pressure created by underwater movements, something Samsung did not indicate doing with the original Gear Fit 2.
Gear Fit 2 Pro retains the features of the original model, including a curved AMOLED display, built-in GPS, internal memory, and Samsung system-based application support. The bracelet should arrive at $ 199, 20 dollars more than the official price of Gear Fit 2.
