Apple's professional music production software has gained traditional performance enhancements and optimizations to harness the power of the new Mac Pro. How? Version 10.4.5 now supports up to 56 threads allowing film producers and composers to work on very complex and demanding musical projects.

So Logic Pro X now means in the future, since Mac Pro is not yet between us, it can run up to 5x the number of plugins in real time compared to the previous desktop model; It also increases the available track and channel count for all users, now supporting up to 1,000 audio tracks and 1,000 instrument tracks, providing 4x the number of tracks available for more complex productions; To top it off, we support 1,000 auxiliary channel tracks, 1,000 external MIDI tracks, and 12 submissions per channel bar.

Users can also expect an even better response than Mixer and from Event List when working with large sessions as well as working with various issues of the Flex time.

Version 10.4.5 also brings some news as the possibility of filtering, in the explorer of loop, by type of loop and drag / drop multiple loops in your project simultaneously; the new DeEsser 2 plugin, which offers more options to reduce wheezing on audio tracks; and the option to send beat clock MIDI for individual ports, each with unique settings such as time offset and plugin delay compensation.

Logic Pro X costs $ 750 at the Mac App Store, but this update is obviously free for anyone who has bought it before.
