iOS 13: Turning on Night Mode on iPhone | Themes

IOS 13, the new version of Apple's iPhone system, now features a night mode (also called dark mode or dark mode) native. Long awaited by users, the function is useful for using the phone at night or in the dark, preventing the brightness of the screen from tiring your eyesight. With it, the system interface and applications gain less aggressive color to the eyes, such as black and dark gray. The wallpaper can also be changed to emit less light.

In the following tutorial, learn how to enable and set up iOS 13 dark mode on your phone. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8, but the tips also apply to other models of the phone. Please note that the system update is freely available for iPhone 6S and higher.

Step 1. Open iOS Settings and tap "Screen and Brightness";

Step 2. Select the "Dark" look. To automatically turn on the night feature, check the "Automatic" option;

Step 3. Just below, tap "Options" and select whether you want to activate dark mode at sunrise and sunset or at a specific time;

Step 4. You can also add a shortcut to dark mode in the System Control Center. To do so, return to the settings home screen and tap "Control Center". Please open "Customize Controls";

Step 5. Locate the "Dark Mode" item and tap on the "+" on the left. Once you've done that, go to the iPhone Control Center and tap the indicated icon to turn iOS dark mode on or off.

Step 1. To use a live wallpaper that is light or dark according to the mode you select, go back to iOS settings and open "Background". Then tap "Choose New Background";

Step 2. Select the "Static" option and choose an image that indicates night mode. This will make your iPhone wallpaper light or dark, depending on the look you select.
