Despite the arrival of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S4 has not yet lost all its majesty, being a very popular device among our readers. Despite its powerful Snapdragon 600 processor, many of the smartphone's built-in software functions have made it somewhat slow. I have made some suggestions to speed up the performance of your Galaxy S4, all without root access. Oh, and check out this article for general tips on how to speed up your device.
Adjust or disable animations
One feature that can slow your smartphone down is animations, both for popup windows and transitioning between screens. These animations are the ones that appear when you activate an application, or click on a section of the device settings, for example. Not everyone knows that you can configure or even disable these animations.
To do so, you must first enable developer options in your S4 settings. If they are not already enabled, go to General> About Device. Then. continuously click Build Number at see the message Developer mode enabled.
