Who owns one Nexus 5 or a Nexus 7 2013 and like to try out the latest in the Android world, probably installed the factory versions of Andoid L. Now a developer of XDA announced that it managed to gain access root to Google's new system.

According to savoca developer, root access was not so difficult to obtain. Basically, device owners listed as compatible with Android L factory images can use this method. You will need a custom recovery installed to install Chainfire's SuperSU. Then install the appropriate boot.img file at boot, which can be obtained here.
