Unity 3D Games Engine Receives Linux Support

The new version (4.0) of the Unity 3D game engine has received native Linux support as a publishing platform, allowing Unity games to be played natively on Linux. I say publishing platform, because nothing has been commented (yet) about support for Unity 3D game development on Linux.

Unity 4 is a new option for deploying Linux desktop games, paving the way for the Unity community to bring new and exciting content to about 10% of the PC market.
