iPhone: How to use Memoji, a feature that leaves emoji on your face | Social networks

In the following tutorial, check out how to create and use Memojis. The procedure was performed on an iPhone XR with iOS 13, but the tips also apply to other devices with the latest version of Apple system to be compatible with devices from iPhone 6S.

Step 1. Open the Messaging app and access any conversation or create a new message by tapping the button in the upper right corner of the screen. Then tap on the Memoji cone;

Step 2. On the Memojis keyboard, tap the "+" button to create a new custom Memoji. Choose the details of the skin, hairstyle, eyes, eyebrows, head etc. When done, press "OK" in the upper right corner of the screen;

Step 3. Your Memoji can be saved and can be accessed by the left cone of the standard stickers. Touch and drag the tab up to see all options. To send a Memoji, just tap on it;

Step 4. The chosen Memoji will be added to the text field. Tap the submit button to send the sticker. You can also use Memoji to react to a received or sent message. To do so, tap on the sticker and drag over the desired conversation;

Step 5. On iPhone X and higher, with Face ID support, you can record animated videos of up to 30 seconds by moving the face of the sticker. To do so, tap on the Animoji cone just below the text field. Select your Memoji and press the record button. Make expressions with your face and, if you wish, speak to record the audio;

Step 6. The recording will play at the bottom of the screen. Press the indicated icon to send or tap the trash can icon to erase and re-record;

Step 7. You can also pose and touch your face to capture a photo and create a custom sticker. That done, tap the send button to send the content in chat;

Step 8. On iOS 13, you can also use Memoji in other apps, such as WhatsApp. To do this, simply access the emojis by tapping the smiley cone in the bottom left corner of the keyboard. The most used Memojis will be displayed on the left of the emojis. Tap the "…" button to see all options.
