Dropbox's sharing service closely resembles Firefox Send, but promising 40x more capacity.
This Tuesday (9), Dropbox introduced its new file sharing tool similar to Firefox Send. The service is Dropbox Transfer.
The new Dropbox service is different from the cloud service offered by the company years ago. The idea of ??him sending files or a bunch of them with just a simple, clear and objective link.
With this new service, you can attach to it up to 100GB simply by dragging and dropping the files into it or uploading it directly from your PC. Compared to the Firefox Send service, it has up to 40x more capacity. You can add files from your Dropbox. Like the Mozilla service, Dropbox Transfer gives you the ability to customize the sharing link, such as adding, editing, and removing passwords; enter an expiration date for that link and may change it even if the link has been sent. You can configure file notifications, and see how many times the link has been accessed with statistics.
Still in the customization part, you can change the wallpaper of the download page, can choose the options chosen or upload the saved image from your PC. For companies this gives a slightly more professional touch.
The service is not yet available to the general public, but you can get on the waiting list and be among the first to try Dropbox Transfer when they release the invitations.
