How to set up contact photos on Android

Android is an efficient system when it comes to syncing our contacts from phone numbers, email addresses, Facebook and Skype profiles. Unfortunately, however, we are unable to automatically have our contacts' photos in the corresponding list, and we must manually set them up or use an app. In this article I will explain how to set up contact photos on your Android.

Beginner Android

Setting up photos manually

Of course, if we already have photos of friends on our device, set them up as very simple contact photos. Just open the contacts app and select the desired name, then click on the edit icon and click on the photo symbol. Here we can choose between the options to take a photo on time or open the gallery.

Using an app

Setting up photos manually can take a long time, especially if we have a lot of contacts. Also, we don't always have photos of everyone in our gallery. Luckily, many of our acquaintances are on Facebook, and we can use your profile photos for our contact list. To do this, simply download an application like Sync.Me, which efficiently synchronizes our contacts with Facebook (or Linkedin) automatically setting up photos. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.

Of course not all of our contacts are on Facebook, and synchronization becomes difficult if FB profiles only use nicknames.

Contacts we can't find on social networks

There is an application called Contact Photo Finder, which performs an internet search for contacts of firms, agencies, etc. and find the right image.
