iPhone: How to scan documents and save to Files on iOS 13 | Productivity

Scanning documents on iOS 13 is natively possible through the iPhone Files app. The useful feature is to save the image in PDF format directly to the device's memory, without resorting to external apps. The system identifies the margins of the scanned page automatically and lets you create a file name and select the folder to save it to. Step 1. Open the Files app and select the "Explore" tab. Tap the three option dots and choose "Scan Documents";

Step 2. Point the camera at the desired document. The system identifies the page margins for automatic capture. If you wish, tap the capture button to register the image. Adjust the margins manually to align the page and confirm with "Keep Scanning";

Step 3. To edit the image, tap the thumbnail in the left corner. In the coloring icon, it will be possible to change the hue of the capture, being able to leave the color image in grayscale, black and white or as a photo;

Step 4. Tap "Save" to finish. Enter a name for the document, choose the location where the file will be stored and confirm with "Save".

How to find a scanned file on iPhone

Step 1. Still in the Files app, open the folder where you saved the scanned document. Then tap it to view it;
