AccuBattery is a free Android app that helps preserve your phone battery. According to the developer, unlike other apps of its kind, the tool is based on scientific studies. The app suggests recharging only up to 80% to decrease wear and increase component life by up to 200%. For this, an alarm is triggered whenever the battery reaches the percentage. The user also has access to various technical information such as current, voltage, temperature, charging speed and more.
In the following tutorial, check out how to use the AccuBattery app on your phone. The procedure was performed on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply to other devices with the Google system. The app has no iPhone (iOS) verse.
