The search giant announced today that Google Reader is in touch with the days. So from July 1st, you will no longer be able to count on the Big G RSS reader. What led to the cancellation of the service was the drop in the number of users of the tool, however if you are a staunch Reader user , don't panic, as there are even better alternatives than Google's service. For those who use Android, there are applications that serve to gather all your interests in one place, check out a selection with the best alternatives to Google Reader.
Flipboard, in my opinion, is one of the most complete applications for gathering your news feed and keeping up to date using just one place. You create an account, add your content channels, and even count on the app's own suggestions. Also, you can associate your social networks with the channel. Another plus point is the application design that facilitates user use by being extremely functional and intuitive. Flipboard is free and accessible from both tablets and smartphones. The app also has paid content.
Pulse Press is one of the most beloved apps by Android fans. Betting on design, the application displays a news mosaic with the sources chosen by the user and stands out for its attractive interface. Particularly, I haven't downloaded it yet, but it's on this list by referral from the AndroidPIT content team.
NewsBlur is another service for checking news feeds that has one web version and one mobile version. Despite the limit of up to 64 sources in the free version of the app, the paid version does not include this limit, it also allows you to share news and discuss it with friends, as well as meet other users with the same interests. It's good that you can import your fonts directly from GReader.
How about, with other options on the market, we don't have to carry Google Reader mourning for a long time, right?
Which of these applications did you usually use? Would you like to give other suggestions to replace Google Reader after July 1st? In the comments below, let us know what your directions are for bringing together different news channels in one app.
