2019 iPhones may give up 3D Touch; Cheaper HomePod would be on its way

The rumored machine for next month's likely iPhones (yes, it's close!) Is already running at full throttle, but what do you think about a dose of speculation about next year's handsets? Why Investment Bank Analysts Barclays have traveled around Asia, and in conversations with sources from within Apple's supply chain, are bringing a lot of news; among them, some related to possible future devices.

The most interesting news, as noted by MacRumors, just those related to 2019 iPhones. According to analysts' findings, it is already "widely understood" in the corridors of Asian factories that future models will totally abandon the 3D touch that is, all (speculated) three models next year will no longer bring the technology. This complements a guess by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that as early as this year, the "input" iPhone with LCD screen will not come with the feature.

It remains to be seen, of course, whether Apple will simply abandon the method of interaction (which seems unlikely given the effort it has made in recent years to extend its use) or adopt another technology to evoke it some vehicles bet on some form of control without touch, perhaps with just the flick of a finger, as Samsung tried a few years ago (and abandoned). It's good to note that analysts rate these plans as tentative and Apple could change its mind until next year, of course.

On a related subject, but speaking of the 2018 iPhones, the same note claims to have evidence that devices can indeed support an external interaction device and no one names the Apple Pencil, so we can assume that Apple would be thinking of a kind of stylus for your new iPhones (to compete with the Galaxy Note line) or even bring in iPad Pro pen holder.

We'll have to wait and see.

Another prediction brought by analysts is that Ma will actually release a new version of Airpods, apparently in the last quarter of 2019. No, that does not change AirPower-related plans (which should actually hit the market next month with an up-to-date and optional first-generation AirPod case); Similarly, it is not known what news could bring these “AirPods 2” if we take into account information previously provided by Mark Gurman, however, we can expect a water resistant model with support for the “Siri” command.

Finally, the note thickens the choir that indicates the release of HomePod cheaper according to analysts, such a release would be for next year (without specifying a period) and would have as its main reason to reverse the “disappointing sales” of Ma's current smart speaker, which would have less than 5 million units shipped since your release. The new model would have a "greater appeal" to consumers, but the note does not speak of specifics about the project.
