2006 edition of robotics festival organized around ASIMO

From April 28 to May 1, in Guimarães, another edition of the National Robotics Festival, this time developed around the theme «The present and the future of the humanoid robot ASIMO», which will be presented in a lecture by Frank Joublin, a from researchers at Honda’s laboratory, the brand responsible for the development of the robot.

In addition to the Scientific Meeting, the part of the festival where national researchers and entrepreneurs in the field of Robotics gather to present the latest results of their activity and where Frank Joublin’s lecture is inserted, the event will feature the usual robotic football events, dance and search and rescue. In addition to these classes, the already traditional autonomous driving competition (CA) will remain.
