Quanta Computer shipped 3.8 million notebooks in January and expects its delivery volume in the first quarter of 2012 to fall 10-15% sequentially, to 11.8-12.5 million units. With Apple close to launching a new MacBook Air, Quanta's revenue is likely to grow in the future.

With the stabilization in HDD deliveries, Asian suppliers already see improvements in the notebook sector as of February, the total deliveries may rise 10% compared to last month. The new Airs are also expected to be equipped with Intel's Ivy Bridge processors. (DigiTimes)
