↪ New iMacs are incompatible with VESA mounting kits

Today the MacTrast received exclusive confirmation from Apple about another design concern (of the new iMac) that will leave many users disappointed.

According to a message received from Laura Metz, Apple representative, the new iMacs do not support VESA fasteners of any kind, which makes it impossible to use them with wall brackets, articulated arms or other mounting solutions.

Until the last release, iMacs were compatible with these types of support, which is still sold in the Apple Online Store.

Now, it is just another lost resource with the new design of these machines.

For us, home users, this is not so essential.

But for companies, the news is certainly worrying.

Some third-party kits are popping up, but never the same.
