Apple Updates: Safari 12, Xcode 10, macOS Server, Support, Apple TV Remote, GarageBand, and TestFlight

↪ Apple updates Safari to version 8.0.1 [atualizado 2x: 7.1.1 e 6.2.1 também]

Safari icon on OS X Yosemite

The 8.0.1 Safari update is recommended for all OS X Yosemite users and contains improvements in usability, stability and security. This update:

  • Corrects an issue that could prevent the history from being synced between devices if iCloud Drive was not enabled.
  • Corrects an issue that could prevent a saved password from filling in automatically after adding two devices to iCloud Keys.
  • Improves the performance of WebGL graphics on Retina screens.
  • Allows users to import usernames and passwords from Firefox.

The first update of the Safari since version 8.0 arrived embedded in OS X Yosemite. It can now be downloaded from the Mac App Store.

It's even looking like a curse of the number. Believe it or not, but just like iOS 8.0.1, Safari 8.0.1 also arrived full of problems. Some users reported that, after the update, the browser icon disappeared from the system; others say that it is still installed, but it has several flaws that did not exist in the previous version. Because of this, Apple withdrew the update from the air.
